Tom Furman has been working for Boone Drug since May, 1991!  He has been a practicing pharmacist since July, 1991.  Tom is the pharmacist-manager at Boone Drug at King Street.

Tom attended pharmacy school at Campbell University. When asked about his favorite thing about being a pharmacist he replied, "Working inside all day...Ha! Ha!  Genuinely helping people.  Usually patients have spent a long time waiting at a doctor's office and not feeling well - they are usually frustrated and often impatient.  By the time they get to the drug store a simple smile is often a cure in itself."

Tom enjoys spending time with his five children and wife.  Rock climbing, target shooting, and riding motorcycles are also some of his favorite activities.
